Post-doc position in Neuroscience (Yale, USA)

Information

The Yogev lab in the Department of Neuroscience at Yale is looking for a postdoctoral associate to study the neuronal cytoskeleton and axonal transport. We developed genetic and imaging approaches that allow us to answer fundamental questions about synapse formation and the cytoskeleton and envision that the postdoc would take on a project in these broadly defined fields.

The lab is embedded in a strong and collaborative neuronal cell biology community at Yale, with access to state-of-the-art imaging resources. In addition to the Department of Neuroscience, we are also affiliated with the Wu-Tsai Institute and with the Department of Cell Biology, which offers opportunities for collaborations across experimental scales.

Profile

The postdoc candidate should be passionate about neuronal cell biology, able to think creatively and work in a collaborative environment. Specific expertise in cell biology, genetics and quantitative imaging approaches is advantageous but not a must.
