PhD and postdoctoral position (Frankfurt am Main, Germany)

A fully funded PhD and postdoctoral position are available in the newly installed research group “Instinctive Behaviour Circuits”, headed by Vanessa Stempel at the Max Planck Institute for Brain Research in Frankfurt am Main. If you’re excited about the idea of joining a brand new lab, and work on the neural mechanisms of flexible instinctive behaviours, then get in touch with Vanessa! The lab will employ state-of-the-art in vivo neural activity recordings and manipulation experiments in ethologically-relevant behavioural tasks in mice, and combine these with molecular, cellular and circuit-level analyses in vitro. The group is also welcoming applications for BSc and MSc research projects! Lab website:https://brain.mpg.de/research/instinctive-behaviour-circuits-group.html).
