The “Decision and Adaptation” group at the ”Institut de Neurosciences Cognitives et In- tégratives d’Aquitaine” (Bordeaux Neurocampus, France) is seeking to recruit a research engineer to join their group. The position will support research on the neural bases of decision-making and will combine rodent behavioral models (operant conditioning, rodent touchscreens) with neural interventions, including chemogenetics and optogenetics.
The candidate should have a Master degree in neuroscience, biology, or a related field. Candidates should also have experience working with rodents and should hold a “certificat de niveau B (applicateur) d’expérimentation animale” (ex niveau II). Skills in rodent behavior, stereotaxic surgery, optogenetics, and programming would be an asset. The starting date is January 2021 (flexible) and the initial contract length is 18 months.
