Profile : Highly motivated, independent, creative and collaborative individuals for two NIH funded postdoctoral positions. Ideal candidates will have a PhD, MD or equivalent. Candidates should have a strong background in cardiovascular physiology and cellular biology of ion channels and signaling molecules. Expertise in cell biology, electrophysiology, calcium imaging, pressure myography and/or image analysis would be a big plus.
Project : One position will focus mainly on vascular function in health and disease and the other position will focus on the cell biology of ion channels in vascular cells.
The Lab : Our lab studies the cellular and molecular biology of ion channels and signaling molecules in vascular cells.
