Profile : Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Physiology, Neuroscience or Physics and have excellent written and verbal English communication skills. The project : collaborative and multidisciplinary research projects to investigate the functional interplay between dopaminergic and serotonergic neuronal activity within midbrain nuclei, and the circuit and behavioral impact of this interplay on target
brain regions. To this purpose, she/he will apply neurophysiological, optogenetic and chemogenetic approaches, together with state-of-the art imaging techniques to monitor neuromodulatory signals at cellular and subcellular resolution.
