Call for interest for potential candidates for a post-doc position (2 years) in the department of Biotechnology, Chemistry and Pharmacy at the University of Siena
At the department of Biotechnology, Chemistry and Pharmacy of the University of Siena, we are looking for potential candidates for two research fellow positions (2-year post-doc position) in Molecular Biology starting from around April 2021. The research field of the fellowships concerns the molecular mechanisms of angiogenesis, molecular bases of neovascular retinal diseases and the development of therapeutic monoclonal antibodies. Qualified candidates must have PhD and must currently be actively involved in molecular research in either Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field. Experience in the development and optimization of therapeutic monoclonal antibodies is appreciated. The research fellows will collaborate with Prof. Galvagni and Prof. Orlandini and they will be free to apply for research funding and carry out their personal research project.
