Post-doctoral position available at the Institut de Neurosciences de la Timone (Marseille,France)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and highly motivated post-doctoral fellow to participate in an ANR-funded project exploring the contribution of various pontine nuclei to the generation of visually-guided tracking eye movements. The successful candidate will perform electrophysiological, psychophysical and inactivation experiments in behaving monkeys. She/he must hold a Ph.D. in Neuroscience or in Physiology and have experience with electrophysiological or functional perturbation techniques in awake vertebrate animals.

The successful candidate must also have a proven track record (e.g. first-author publications) in the field of Neuroscience. She/he will benefit from the large neuroscientific community in Marseille and from the presence of many investigators interested in the neurophysiological aspects of sensorimotor transformations.
